Tun Dr Mahathir Launches His Latest Book

Marshall Cavendish Malaysia’s latest book was released on 30th of January 2008, written by our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad with commentaries by Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad. Entitled Dr. Mahathir’s Selected Letters to World Leaders, it is a compilation of seventy-one letters of correspondence between Malaysia’s longest serving prime minister and prominent world leaders, including both George W. Bush and his father, Jacques Chirac, Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, Edouard Balladur, Bill Clinton and even Prince Charles amongst others. It touches on issues ranging from terrorism, wars and conflicts, to globalisation and economic and diplomatic relations.

Among the prominent figures present at the launch held in the Perdana Leadership Foundation in Putrajaya were Tun Ling Liong Sik, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah, Puan Sri Fauzah, Tun Hanif Omar, Tengku Mahaleel, Tan Sri Dr Mahadevan, Tan Sri Dato' Amar Leo Moggie, Tan Sri Razali Ismail, Tan Sri Kadir Sheikh Fadzil, and Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
