The 11th MPH Breakfast Club Launches Juriahs Song
The
master of horror stories, Tunku Halim, and mistress of psychological thrilling
and disturbing tales, Xeus, emerged from the dark to talk to fans at Bangsar
Village II on 26 January 2008.
Juriahs
Song, Halims latest novella, was also officially launched.
The author in his trademark fedora read a few extracts from the book,
and his appearance convinced the RTM crew to come over to interview the
authors.
Xeus invited Dark
City 2 contributors Lydia Teh, Chua Kok Yee, and Halim to enlighten
the audience about the process of writing short stories for the collection.
They highlighted the importance of exposing oneself to all forms of storytelling
(including television!), and constant rewriting.
