MPH Hears the Powerful Voices of Women

Even as the day of elections drew near, Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil continued to show her support of women causes.

Her Voice is the story of the Malaysian women, with the Minister as one of the heroic subjects in the book as well as her struggles for the women she so highly regards. It brings to light the challenges and achievements of women, and the differences that the ministry in particular has made.

On 6 March 2008, the launch of Her Voice occupied the Concourse of the Bangsar Village Shopping Centre, spectacularly filled with decorations, video clips, and the voices of strong women personalities such as Dr. Farrah Hani Imran, Yasmin Ahmad, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development YBhg Datuk Faizah Tahir, the author YBhg Datin Vasanthi Ramachandran.
